Very interesting data, a few insights:

1. These numbers are down from the blow-out October sales of 50% YoY growth, and down numerically from October 2025.

2. According to visor.vin (not sponsored - just a free tool) - the Ranger's day-supply is only 47 days compared the F-150's 120 day-supply. So, either Ford is carefully managing production volume or Ranger is hot. I'm guessing constrained production, but why? The deals are out there, with as much as $2,500 Ford cash on the hood + dealer discount.

Rangers are built on the same factory line as Broncos and we all know Broncos are more popular.
Ford just doesnt build many rangers. My dealer had exactly 2 on the lot (Black&Gray)
And to this day, I rarely see any fellow 6g rangers on the road in my area. (MA) :sunglasses:

I would say the word is starting to get out, just how good these trucks are.
I did what I could to contribute to those October / November numbers. Lol
1 in October, 2 in November and 4th likely to come before the end of December, as I begin moving some of my business fleet from F150 over to Ranger at least wherever it makes sense for my business needs.

‘For the mid-size truck segment I think the Ranger is easily the top pick on the market.
Actually none of the other mid-sizers would even make the consideration list.

Ford is very carefully managing Ranger, they do not want it to dampen F-150 and Maverick sales volumes. When I bought my Ranger the dealer tried to upsell me into an F-150...and downsell me into a Maverick, seemed like they preferred selling the other two models.

Let me throw in some interesting facts on all Auto manufactures. Most auto manufacturers limit production runs of their models to manage inventory and meet market demand. It helps prevent overproduction and ensures that vehicles remain desirable and profitable on the market, including resale values. They also will halt production of certain models in order to enhance the perceived value on the market. Case in point our Rangers. This applies especially when they have their own competing models for sale and need to get more sold of their own competing models of vehicles, maverick, bronco, F150 etc.... It's all a numbers control game for profits and they know the game well by watching sales and their own markets history. Of course they're not going to stop you from ordering what your willing to pay for most of the time. Good post on the numbers!

If, as a result of Ford closely managing Ranger production, the resale value of my Ranger is elevated and am 100% ok with it. Ford has a winner of a truck on its hands with Ranger and I for one and 100% happy to have one and have it be a desirable truck to have.

Now, if Ford would just get it's mind right and bring a hybrid or PHEV Ranger to the US market they will notch another Ranger sale, I will trade my '24 Lariat for a hybrid or PHEV Lariat.

I know it's a 'Global' platform hence the Ranger name was still in use, but if Ford is so worried about eating into "F" Series sales, they should have just called it an F-100 or F-50 in my opinion.

It isn't limited for your sake. It's limited because if dealers got a glut of supply, then Ford would need to slap more cash on the hood to support dealers who own the inventory. Resale is just a byproduct.

As for PHEV, it's in Australia, and the MPGs are not compelling, it seems truck may be too heavy and unaerodynamic to really benefit from the hybrid complexity as a matter of physics. See: Taco Hybrid which is rated the same as the 25+ i4 Ranger.

I'm in Pennsylvania and around here not many dealers have Ford rangers in stock. I just bought mine two weeks ago and I've yet to see another one on the road.

Possible the volume of Rangers is built to parts availability?

Nothing personal - but I can assure you with me getting $7,250 $4k dealer and $3.25k Ford isn't doing it for resale.

Toyota is chasing Tacoma volume at any cost. They've got a huge supply and the discounts are similar to Ranger. Which might sound like so what, but huge discounts are not the norm for Toyota.
