Has anyone done this yet and can share a picture? I think I want to do both either black or charcoal gray to match the accents. Also debating about doing the wheel beauty rings for the headlock capable wheels.

They don't tend to paint exhaust systems

The Raptor exhaust is large diameter, very nice looking and stainless steel, if you want it to look good, polish it. The driveshaft OTH is raw steel and will quickly become a mess.

Stainless... looking. I already have a few rust spots popping up on my exhaust.

I’ve always liked the black exhaust look. I’d be open to a clamp on black tip as well but heard it was hard finding a correct size for the raptor exhaust tips. I don’t want to cut and weld anything

Might still be stainless steel. Rust spots on SS are surface contaminations from other iron products.
If you were to rub an iron against stainless-steel, a few days later you will have rust stains on the SS. These can be buffed/polished off. It's what's happening with Cyber Trucks 'rusting'.

Because coffee hasn't kicked in, you're saying it's likely contaminants rusting on the surface, not rust coming through the nickel coating? Did I get that right?

Stainless steel used on exhausts, especially OEM, is typically lower grade SS. It will corrode on the surface but it takes a very long time to rust through. I have a Gibson cat back system that I installed on my 02 Ranger shortly after buying it new. I have close to 300K miles on it now and the cat back exhaust is still solid but the pipe looks very rusty.

I don't think powder coating will stand up to the exhaust pipe temperature. It may be okay for the area closer to the tip but there are high temperature paints that would work better.
