Price protection.

My dealer said I'm getting one of their two 2024 Raptor allocations at sticker, but haven't responsed when I asked about getting their stock order converted to a retail order to lock in price protection.

I also inquired with the dealership I'm working with and they briefly looked into it and said they couldn't find any bulletin or instructions about changing stock to retail but assured me the price I signed on the order sheet would be the price honored. Then later that afternoon I got an email order confirmation from Ford and then got a text from my friend who is the salesman letting me know they reached out to their regional rep and he told them to change my stock order to retail. We laughed about it; it's a hot mess but what are you going to do ?‍
