In my experience most flsh or piggy back tunes will give you similar power levels for their stage that uses all stock parts. Obviously flashing in a tune will gove you the possibility to make the vehicle feel better and maybe squeeze more power out of it, but the downside is that if it doesnt work properly you cannot disable it like you can with the piggy back.
I run a custom Auto Octane tune from ZFG in an unlocked PCM. I used HP Tuners to get the stock tune for my truck via a virtual read and saved that for when I should ever need to revert to stock.

As an added advantage, I can make my own tunes based on that stock calibration and flash them into the unlocked pcm too.

following up on this thread. I have the FP tune which claims similar numbers to JB4 with 91.

Am I missing something? I feel the FP tune isn't that great to be honest. I feel it is not very consistent. I am surprised JB4 with WMI wouldn't be better here.
The Jb4 is better. More hp and more torque. You get 6 maps to choose from and can customize your own. Its easy to install and remove too.
