Hey if you haven't already, with everything you're doing, these plugs. I get them from ZFG and have him gap them based on my current mods, that price is with ZFG gaping them.

I think I’m getting old—I couldn’t find them on your website. As usual—no rush, I just need them before Dyno on Monday. I know humor doesn’t transfer very well in text—but I have a big grin on my face.
Did you install a cat-back exhaust?
I have not installed an exhaust. I did install new new Alpha Cat SPD Downpipes (thanks DirtD). I have given a lot of thought to some kind of Cat back system or even a resonator delete tailpipe like the Fabulous Fab boys make in Australia. From best that I can tell, there isn’t much horsepower to be gained in a new exhaust—maybe 5hp at most. So, the real reason is the sound. I like the stock Baja sound from inside the cab—it doesn’t sound the same from the outside—at least to me. But I’m old and half deaf. I did like the sound of the Fabulous Fab tailpipes—but listening to a video is hard to tell. They are expensive, expensive to ship, are not bolt on (require cutting and welding) and with Tariff, right now, for me, are way, way too expensive. That leaves two other choices. Borla, and Miiltek—I’m kind of leaning towards the Milltek if I had to chose at this moment. For now, I’m going to see what my new SPD downpipes sound like and maybe adjust plan later.

We are due to receive the Cat-Back valved system on 10/25. They have not released the Milltek exhaust system for the 24 raptors in the states yet. Once we have them in stock, we will release them to consumers.

I got this email from Jacob from Milltek. Not sure what this is but I am excited to see it.

AFE has a exhaust out but I know nothing about it

Are we talking about the Milltek valved cat back exhaust? If I’m not mistaken, and I could be, I have seen numerous YouTube videos with that exhaust. I see the system for sale from several venders, one I just looked at 5minutes ago while I was looking for spark plugs. Maybe I’m wrong. One YouTube video sticks in my mind with a RR on a dyno and it has a lot of engine mods—I think it had Milltek exhaust. That video really sticks in my mind as the microphone was located at the rear of the truck, and it sounded awesome. It could just be over saturation. I’ve ingested so much advertising, media, and YouTube since I decided to get a Rapter Ranger last year. It seems I see one thing I kind of like, then I see another I like more. There are some videos I watch over and over again. Everything blurs together.
I will say this, I am very open minded. If someone has a better idea, by all means let me know. Like, I did not even know AFE was making an exhaust for the truck. I learn something new everyday.

Process West Stage 2 Intercooler installation. The entire front end of the truck had to be removed to install the huge intercooler. Not shown in the pic, I also installed the PW trans cooler. The guys at the shop seem to be doing an awesome job.

Process West Charge/Crossover Pipes installation. The red pipes really stand out and add some “pop” to the engine compartment.

Also installed is a Turbosmart blow-off valve. On the firewall, just to the left of the master cylinder, is a Red can. That is a IAG brand Air Oil Separator (AOS)— basically, it’s an oil catch can that is connected to the cooling system and heats the collected oil, removing the water, and returning the oil back to the crankcase. Supposed to be maintenance free, in that you don’t have to dump the oil, and should function in cold weather. We will see.

Installed the Process West Cold Air Box. The air filter was changed from oiled cotton to an AFE dry media filter.

I know of the AFE exhaust you mentioned.

AFE Vulcan series cat-back exhaust.

It's an interesting set set up and they have a sound clip video for it.

I just followed the link for the AFE exhaust. It’s kind of different than most others. It has no resonators in the rear ( just before tail pipe), and it has what appear to be extremely small mufflers on the bypass pipes. Most other manufacturers have large mufflers on the main pipes—not on the bypass. If I’m correct, in Baja mode the exhaust is a straight pipe. The video sound track sounded pretty good

Those small mufflers are sound tuning chambers (the actual name they're called slips my mind) that work in all drive modes and act kind of like a resonator.
Yeah, Baja mode is essentially a straight pipe.

The exhaust note does sound pretty good. I'm curious as to how much it would change with Aftermarket down-pipes.

I intend to put SPD down-pipes on my truck, but haven't decided as to what will be done to the exhaust so I tend to bookmark stuff that catches my attention and see what information/ videos I can find of it.

I know this is a Ranger Raptor conversation but I put an AWE exhaust on my wife’s Bronco Raptor and sounds amazing! It sucks they don't offer the same exhaust for the Ranger Raptor.
I my opinion it’s the best sounding exhaust. I’ve heard on the bronco.

I’m looking at your picture—I think you stole my truck—or you have the same color taste.

As far as Dyno, I was supposed to be there today. We had a few set backs and I just got off phone with tuner/dyno and the earliest I can get in there is Thursday.

I like how they called them “acoustically tuned expansion chambers”. They did sound good, but I wish I could hear them in person. One thing I absolutely don’t want is drone going down the highway. I just put the SPD downpipes on—and I am waiting to hear it run and see what the SPD downpipes sound like.

Like you, I have so many parts, articles, and things that I liked bookmarked, and I have almost 500 websites open on my phone.

In my case the dyno showed ~350whp stock, and went up to ~420whp after tuning, larger IC, and meth injection. I expect with the larger turbos you should get at least 450-460whp.
