I like it. The R can mean whatever you want it to mean. If you de-decal the side, the back of the truck still has the Raptor plackard, an R up front could just mean Raptor variant of the Ranger.

Just because I wouldn't put a red R on my RR, tuned or not, does mean others can’t. Think about all the muscle cars from all manufactures that were truly great cars of their time. The Mustang GT, the BOSS, all the Mopar Hemi’s, Camaros, GTO, the list goes on and on. People buy & sell originals for big money. They also build, buy, and sell clones. We see them everywhere. While we can’t all afford the original, it can be fun to drive clones. This is more about how we feel about and drive our trucks. Here, we can share what we’re doing to our trucks. While I wouldn’t put a red R on my RR, out of respect for those that paid double for that red R on their truck, others can do as they see fit. This is America.

FYI: I put a Red R insert in the last R on my tailgate Raptor emblem. Why? because it's mine and I like it!

I was thinking, because I now have a RR that has a pro tune, why not put an R on the front grill and call it a Ranger Raptor R. I mean, it's Ford sponsored mod so why not since Ford will not make a RR-R ever!

I prefer this since we dont have raptor rs. But you do you! This is what I did to mine. Cool there are so many different ways to personalize our trucks.

I will probably do the R badge once I get my Godzilla v8 installed in my Black RR.
That will be real enough for me, once there is a Ford v8 under the hood. lol

Here is a funny story concerning up badging and Shelby or SVT snakes.

I had an '03 Cobra that was a lemon of a vehicle unfortunately...!!!

That '03 Cobra was the worst vehicle I ever owned.
I had it for 16 months and it was in the shop 16 times:
- 3 throw-out bearings
- 2 clutch cables
- right rear axle assembly
- left rear axle assembly
- cylinder head replacement
- and a host of other issues

The car would spend a week in the shop, and they would give me a loaner car.
So I decided to tape stickers on it:

I was at a light in the rental Focus with the large pixelated snake on the fender, and two young kids in a riced out Honda pulled up next to me and started pointing and laughing... I would have loved to have heard their conversation.

Good times... ya gotta laugh a life's mishaps!
