Will Raptor steps fit on a regular Ranger? Just curious. I removed my Raptor steps and I am trying to sell them but I didn't know if they would fit other Rangers.
Did you find out on this. I’ve got a non raptor and am buying a set. Never occurred they might not fit

I never got a definitive answer. I did see a couple of post on Facebook that said they fit.

I’m 6,3 as well. Don’t need a step and kept scraping my calf getting in and out of the truck. I took mine off. Getting custom rock rails made for it soon. Haven’t had any damage on the bed from rocks yet. I’m sure it will happen in the future.

I removed mine as well. Had PPF installed across the lower side to avoid chips until I can get some frame mounted rails installed.

Much Much Better without the steps both ascetically and functionally when getting in and out of the vehicle IMO. Can you please describe where you PPF'd the lower body?

I’m hoping this spring there will be some options. The Raptor boards are a little bla!

Don’t forget the rear fenders need PPF protection. Not just the lower rockers. Those rear bulged fenders are directly in the line of fire of everything coming off those front tires with steps removed.

For those removing their steps.
‘Just had my 24 model RR detailed this week.
‘The truck has about 12,000 miles on it. I don’t live on a gravel road or anything, I have driven down a few gravel roads over the past year. The truck has been through 1 winter season so far, which I think did a lot of the damage.

I tried to protect the belly and back fenders, with splash guards, rocker guards, Pain’t protection film, vinyl wrap. Plus I have 0 poke with my wheel and tire setup.

Still no steps does take a toll on the back fenders.

I am just glad she still looks good from 20ft away. Lol

I am leaving the steps on the 25 model. Damage already done to the 24 model, so I am not putting them back on the 24’ RR.

Definitely looks better removed. Definitely takes on more roost w/o them. I haven't seen any aftermarket options that have similar coverage to the stock ones that aren't overbuilt for our needs. I would love to see some aluminum options. Aluminum sliders are pretty popular in the Wrangler world and work well. I don't plan on bashing this one too much, anymore, in the rocks.

More aluminum choices would be nice. And a wider step platform too

Mine rarely ever saw a gravel road, I think most of that pitting was from road salt and sand the county puts on the roadways in the winters here. I noticed it or some damage last winter, this was the first real detail in over a year. Lots of automatic car washes which never seems to get them so clean that all the flaws show.

I am leaving them off my 24, I really hate the steps, but after seeing the toll it’s been taking on my back fenders I am going to leave them on my 25 model .

We left ours on until the Raptor Rally for that exact reason. We pushed the truck very hard off road, in the rocks, and in the desert and the OEM steps protected the truck very well. We did have to bend them back down into the proper position a few times, though. 🤣🤣
