Saw this new video review on Youtube this morning.

‘Seems a Ranger Raptor owner traded in his Ranger Raptor for a Roush Frontier.

Video is by Nissan fan boy YouTuber.
He does a decent job with the comparison. Even with his admitted bias for Nissan products.
‘Seems to struggle to find anything negative to say about the Raptor.
‘I am curious what the owner of the trucks is thinking after his trade.

Kinda curios if this RR belonged to one of our forum members. Looks like a very nice built out RR.
A solid $10k in mods done to the RR.

Added info from a TFL comparison that brings in a lot of detailed info comparing the two.
‘The power difference and payload differences are very substantial.

NIsmo Nick did a pretty good job with the video and his talking points. Too bad Roush didn't at least mount 33in tires.

the new frontiers are kind of a pain to do lifts and tires. it was the same with my 17 nissan titan. nissan does their suspension kind of odd so its more expensive to lift and give issues if not done right. the frontier is almost an identical version of the titan, just shrunk down. it uses the same transmission though, which is good because its way over built for hte frontier.

the frontier was the main competition for trucks when i got the ranger. if the body style hadn't changed ot the 6th gen ranger, i would be driving another frontier because my previous one was such a good truck.

Three trucks ago I ran an '06 Frontier for 11.5yrs/165k miles; so, I'm still a bit of a Frontier fan. When it came time for a new truck in '17, I just didn't want another of the same. Maybe in a couple/few years when I move on from the RR, it could be another Frontier. Just not now.

The RR is the only midsize truck with a linked up rear as far as I know. I can say I will never buy another truck without a linked up rear like the RR or the F150 Raptor, unless I am buy a for towing only vehicle.

I think there is not much that can be done to make a leaf spring truck handle like a linked one without replacing the rear suspension with a linked setup. So for me, this makes all other comparable trucks pointless, regardless of upgrades.
