I have been bringing my truck back and forth to RCI a few times to assist in developing a skid plate package for the Ranger and RR. They just installed the full underbody package this week, and I wanted to share it with the community.

I ran a complete set of RCI skids on my previous Bronco and was very happy with how the aluminum held up against some pretty serious hits.

After test-fitting everything, RCI has decided to have a Ranger Raptor-specific engine skid that will better fill the gap between the skid plate and the lower fascia of the bumper. The engine skid in the photos lines up well for the standard Ranger but not so much on the RR. They will also develop rock sliders and test-fit them on my truck in the next couple of months.

I cannot say enough good things about the company and how they do business. Not to mention, they manufacture everything right here in Colorado. They have an impressive operation.

Do you know if they are planning to have rock sliders too?

Looking good. My only concern is that motor plate not lining up with the bumper, thats a big gap for a stout limb to poke thru and do some damage. Is that the location you mentioned as not so much?

Yes. They will be making an engine skid specific to the RR because of how big that gap is.
