I get a bit tired of carrying / storing ratchet straps. I love the retractable straps, but every option I’ve seen has been for 150/250 and not for us. Has anyone seen any that work in our beds? TIA

Be careful about using large heavy duty ratchet straps, you can wreck your bed, the structure isn’t especially strong. Those E track ones have an 1100 pound working limit, I prefer to use much lighter 1” ones that are less likely to bend stuff if you are not careful. For an expensive load like a motorcycle, ALWAYS double them up, for example at the front and the back, so that if one strap fails, there won’t be a disaster.

Replace the hooks with 3/8” plated or stainless carabiners so they can’t possibly come disconnected!

Light duty truck - light cargo - light straps!

I think it was integral that told me they were working on those type of straps for the ranger. I looked at the bed of my truck and there is only 1 real point on each side that looks like it would work as the bed has 4 dimples on each side that look like it could be used for those bed mounted straps. I would like them too but it seems like the ranger got pushed to the side and most of the marketing for these type of things is for the F150/250 or the maverick....

Real bummer. Crazy to me how much aftermarket stuff is out there for F-150s and Mavericks, but not Rangers...

the mavericks took off and made such a market change for ford, that is why they get so much support. of course f150, thats fords main money maker.

and them killing off the rangers in the past appears to have some aftermarket support places hesitant to come back

I see several on that Jungle-named website for our trucks. Your Quality May Vary
