My dealer this morning texted and told me that while my truck is still showing "In Production" it has actually been "Released to Body Company"

Can anyone explain?

Very possible as it was an option I added
Just means it was sent across the street to the third party company that does bedliners.

If it somehow would get damaged on the line, they'd just replace the panel with a new one. They wouldn't try to repair it.

Here is another new one.
My tracker now has a New Vehicle Guide button.
I click on it and it has the correct Vin but states it is a 2024 Expedition XLT
not a 2024 Ranger Lariat.
Fords tracker site strikes again.
Someone is not checking for correct info before loading onto site.

Yeah
I think we all know that Ford isn't exactly the most organized game

It's not just Ford. I have been driving my current vehicle for 5+ years and it is clearly a pickup truck but when the dealer registered it somehow it became a Dodge Durago and not a RAM Rebel.

Wow, that's better than showing for your flight and finding you've been upgraded to first class.
