Yes, it's a worthwhile option. Had a neighboring rancher freeze to death when he got locked out of his car out in remote country one cold winter night. He should have broken a window but instead tryed walking to the ranch which proved fatal. I know we now have the FordPass App which allows us to lock/unlock the vehicles but in the area I live we don't allows have cell phone coverage so that wouldn't work. That option is one of the main reasons I buy Fords.

Hi guys,
Do you think SecuriCode is worth ordering?
I’m just wondering what everybody thinks of the value to have it.

Thanks
It is a great thing . If you go to a waterpark , beaches you can lock everything in your truck key , wallet ect. nothing gets wet or lost . If you lose your key once it paid for itself . My last ranger I mounted in rear bed under bed rail by tailgate so I didnt look at it on my door . It is only held on by double face tape .

You can also put the keypad somewhere hidden, like in your gas cap.
I like the idea of having it hidden there but I can't get past the thought of an electronic device with batteries hanging out where all the gas fumes are. What could possibly go wrong?!

Lol I had not considered this.

I got the idea from people on Ranger5G forums so they have been the beta testers and, as far as I know, no explosions. 99% sure it's where I'll be placing mine.

It only works on small cell batteries. And EPA and NHTSA restricts fumes from coming up through the filler neck, there’s a valve. Shouldn’t be an issue.
