I've been a sailor since I was 10. I've owned and raced many sailboats and currently own a trimaran. This was EPIC for me!

There is no other thrill comparable to feeling the wind in your sails & the quiet surge of power pulling you through the water... awesome!

Very cool. Looks like a great trip.

We visited the Naval Aviation Museum last year. The EA-6B on display is an aircraft I actually worked on. I did two cruses on USS Forrestal so seeing the stern plate there was kind of melancholy. She was a good ship.

Also went to the lighthouse. Made it all the way up those stairs only to get chased down again by a big thunderstorm.

The USS Alabama was also well worth seeing.
