Your truck looks great with that shell. 🙂 I see you have the keypad entry. I've had that on Fords in the past. Wish I could have had it this time. That and the sunroof [Ford, are you listening?] are the only options I wish I could have.

My Ram 2500 (the vehicle I sold to downsize to the RR) had an ARE midrise shell. I was happy with the ARE brand, which is why I went for it again with the RR. But I opted against the higher roofline this time because I use parking garages fairly frequently and some of the older garages are not tremendously spacious with headroom.
Thanks! Yeah, I came from a 2005 Tundra with ARE shell. I've got one parking garage I don't think I'll still fit in. Still need to check my overall height... it's close!

XL flaps with ET35 Mothod 705s on stock KO3s (about 20k miles on OE tires).
Hey Lion77, I apologize for the delayed response. Thank you for taking the time to offer some input. I purchased a set of Rokblokz XLs, and they do provide some additional protection, but the bulges on the rear quarter panels are still getting peppered. I have learned that plucking rocks from the KO3s before I get back on the asphalt does reduce the ricochets.

I had an ARE shell built for mine. I also spent about $3k on the equipment to flat tow behind my motorhome. Works great! The truck can look very different depending on the lighting. It's almost always dirty - it attracts dust like a magnet. 😝

I really like how the paint changes its appearance between sunlight and no sunlight. It's stealthier / dark in lower light conditions but glows out in the sun like its radiating energy! The Method Titanium color on the 705's I got have a similar effect, they brighten up a lot in direct sunlight but look several shades darker in lower lighting conditions, so it mirror the "chameleon" effect of the SGM paint.
