I couldn’t agree more about how well signature lux is handling one bad apple and keeping everyone updated. As for the install, I am going to try to see if taking the entire headlight out is a better way to go this morning and I’ll provide update once I do it!
For real. At my company I like looking at dumb reviews. There was one guy who said he couldn’t fit his battery in the product and had marketing freaking out for a quick second. Turns out he was trying to put it in in a really dumb orientation. Imagine trying to plug in a usb port perpendicular to the port and that’s how doing it. He said he was a long term user of our products. Not sure how he made it this far lol
If you make a video on removing headlights it will probably go viral. lol
I think i am going to tackle the headlight removal soon. bumper itself doesn't have to come off but the grill and the trim piece above the bumper does for sure... and from what have seen the fender flare has to come off too in order to get the bumper trim off... the good thing is that ford does not use double sided tape, just screws, scrivets and the annoying fender clips, but it is doable.
That’s interesting. Thanks for the video mate. On my Aussie Raptor Ranger, only the lower lights come on by default with the auto setting. The upper ones are tied to the high beam and need to be activated manually. As for the DRLs, mine are always on by default too, regardless of whether the car’s in park or drive, or how much sunlight there is. Seems like there are a few regional differences in the lighting setups.
Correct, mate. When we installed the amber DRL on our Aussie Ranger Raptor, it behaved exactly as expected for the Australian model. It functions differently on the US-made version, which just goes to show that the module's behavior depends on how the headlights are programmed.

Yeah man, I was surprised to hear of all the differences. Our fog lights turn off when the high beams come on as well and our Aux switches are always powered when the truck is on and not reliant on headlights being on for any of the switches. Lots of little quirks here and there. Cheers!
