Sorry for the upcoming newbie q's for my new RR. What's the deal with the floormats?

There is a line item in the options for all weather floor mats, but the dealer said there must be some mix up, and gladly exchanged the really nice mats that came with my XLT to the new Raptor. I don't how I feel about that. I am not sure the mats from the '21 XLT fit quite right.
What mats normally come with a new RR? Do they have RR logo's?

The mats that come standard in the RR are a decent rubber all weather mat that say "Raptor" on them. A bit thin and "cheapy" so I replaced mine with Weathertech HD

The Weathertechs fit like a glove and cover more of the carpet (especially at the pedals) and the side sill plate. Roughly $100 and you’ve got fresh, new, & better mats - that’s just an opinion though.

i would ask for the mats that came in the raptor. the 5g mats are not the correct shape for the 6g trucks

Go with the factory RR floor mats. They fit well and are nice and also have that Raptor imprint on them. They should be included at no extra cost.

Sounds like a them problem to get resolved. Get the mats that came with your truck. They do say Raptor and are pretty decent in my opinion. They have the ability to order them or to take it up with FMC to get them delivered. Probably sticky hands walked away with them from someone at the dealership and now you're stuck dealing with it...

I have a Lariat, but somehow ended up with the factory RR weathertech floor mats. They seem very well made and heavy duty.

My RR came with the Raptor floor mat set (font and rear), I replaced the fronts with Weather Tech mats because the coverage was significantly better, higher side coverage and actual coverage in the peddle area.
I kept the RR rears because they were adequate and I rarely have passengers in the back seat.

$228 just for the fronts or for the whole front & back set? I snagged a set around Christmas for $99.99 just for the fronts off of EBay. But they did ship from Weathertech. Might’ve been a holiday promotional deal. Seemed like a deal so I snagged them, now it looks like it really was. My apologies for the price mislead.
Well in that case if you don’t want to spend the money (and I don’t blame you) then I’d force the dealership to get you the correct Raptor mats. There is a 100% difference in the Raptor mat. It literally has Raptor embossed into the mat itself.

Ah, that explains it. It was 228 for the whole set on WT website.

OEM Raptor badged all weather floor mats are ok though they do not cover the area under the gas pedal. These were included, front and back with the RR at purchase. I replaced the front with Husky branded. Much better floor coverage especially under the foot.
