Only negative I see, and I just noticed it, is they have the tweeters and mid reversed. Personally, I'll be happy with enough room for coax 3.5" speakers.
On my Land Rover I used the factory bezels and fitted the tweeters in there with smoked acrylic trim.

Recently, however, all of my drivers in the Raptor cut out except the tweeters. I was actually able to hear them by themselves, for some reason. They weren't bad, but it sounded like they were being fed some mids. I didn't listen too long, as I was trying to sort the issue.

I'm not sure how big they are, but they were handling it well enough.

I'm talking with a couple shops locally that do custom setups. No way I can make an A pillar look as good as you.

The tweeters are crossed fairly low as far as I can tell, but without the center you definitely lose some midrange as the front door speakers are only acting as midbass. Ford apparently decided the center channel is all the midrange needed for the front stage. It's really a shit setup for something claiming to be premium.

Thanks. I was rather happy with that result. :)

I don't actually think B&O had much to do with this sound system.

I've heard and seen their work in other automobiles, and I've owned a number of their home products from various eras. There's no way they could bring themselves to do this, and certainly not without their signature aesthetic flare.

While I prefer other Hi-Fi products and concepts, B&O has always had a place in my heart for their sheer insanity in engineering. They were never the "best" (that wasn't their point), but they knew what they were doing and you heard your music well.

This almost sounds like a BOSE home system; many small, full-range drivers attempting to replace excursion with surface area, while at the same time handling highs and mids. Then they pump the midbass through what amounts to a single transmission line enclosure to fill it out.

The end result images well enough for a small home theater or gaming, but it's muddy in comparison with stereo pairs using traditional components.

Indeed. I'm not expecting my B&W home system, but at least give me Sony quality. This is just a pig in lipstick, and a royal pain in the pocketbook to correct.
