Wondering if their is a way to put the truck in a permanent sport mode, instead of messin' with the dial thingy everytime I start the truck?

On my XLT, if I have it in sport or tow mode when engine is stopped, it will ask if I want to return to that mode when I start it up again, even when I use remote or scheduled starts. Just have to hit 'OK'.

no. i tried turning off normal and eco using forscan, so the truck would start in sport, but i got errors so i had to turn on normal. i think the truck looks for it as the basic start option in the settings and if it doesn't see it, its not happy.

Thanks for the reply. Ya, I noticed that option, but I need to be fast to catch that message. I wish their was a way to get that message to stick around a little longer. By the time I get my next address pluged in, the message is gone. (I volunteer for the city library to deliver books to home bound & shut ins)

Thanks again everybody

I generally use Sport mode and try to catch the message to return to it. I deleted Eco mode (I never used it - my gas mileage was worse in Eco than Sport), so now the selector goes from Normal straight to Sport if I miss the return message.

I’ve been using sport mode all the time and love it. I do a lot of my driving on rural roads and like how it stays in lower gears, basically like I would do if it had a manual.

If you have a Raptor just program the R button.
Isn't that the same as pressing the exhaust button??? He is asking how to "PROGRAM" the truck so you DON'T have to press any button every time you start.

It's only the push of a button :) I do know what you mean though...
