Kids use the door pockets. I need easy access to bungies + ratchets. There is nice 2” gap betw rear seat and cabin wall, behind the seat belt. Perfect spot to hang something or reach into a bin. Any ideas or know of something?

Thanks!
PS: anyone seen good inserts to extend sq footage of front/rear door pockets?

Truck is definitely lacking in storage space. There is a market.

Holds a harbor freight 1/2 torque ratchet in its clamshell perfectly.

We have made center console organizer, hidden organizer and safe vault for ranger6g. If you are interested in it, you can take a look~

I traded in an F150. It had under seat storage. This ranger is useless for under seat storage.
Me too. Plus the F150 center console and glove compartment are HUGE by comparison.
Here is my solution, anything flat towards the bottom. Full size umbrella, lock out kit, etc. I use the child seat brackets to hang stuff and get cheap nylon bags from Amazon. In these I keep some ratchet straps but you get the idea.

Might not help that much being a NZ Tremor, but I installed the tailgate toolbox and its working perfect for easy access to tools etc..

Ah hanging a few things is a good idea! Coming from F-150 is rough, stuff could fit underneath the seat and no need to put seat down to get most stuff. I thought it was nit pick that Ranger didn't have split back seat. But it kind of painful to drop the seat anytime I need a tie down or strap or tarp or whatever when camping, sports, etc. I never realized how often I grabbed stuff out of the cab till it became a pain to do it!

First world problem and I love the Ranger. But deduct points for not user friendly.

I went with the hurricane one as it was the best option price wise here in NZ, there are other cheaper ones online, but once you add in postage/freight, they end up being more expensive....Im bloody happy with it and no longer use my swing out case, I recommend them....mind you it was bloody hard cutting into a perfectly good tailgate to install it...lol

I have no issues with it, it is noticablly heavier, but I will sort that with a set of strut dampners...yet to be purchased, but having the tailgate toolbox with light makes it super easy to get to tools/items that I need in a hurry and easy...only thing I would like to add is a rifle carrier via the taillight lol....wishful thinking lol

I think all car campers have the same issue of always needing to get something out of the car/truck. 😆
