Tailgate tool box question.

I saw a post somewhere and thought I had saved it regarding a toolbox that fits into the tailgate area. Not sure if it was a Ranger or not, looked like it fit into the area where the screws are.

I don't think Ford offers one. I know the chevy/GMC twins have one and I think Toyota offers one

They offer swingable side boxes but I haven’t seen one for the tailgate. I’d imagine it would not only be heavy but defeat the purpose/operstion of the tailgate torsion rod and hydraulic piston.???

I saw a YouTube video a while back for an AUS solution.



Looks like Huracan Fabrication. They have 18-23 listed as an option but the video mentions theirs was a prototype.
