Throttle Body

Has anyone changed the size of their throttle body to a larger size? I see that AFE is selling a 85mm throttle body versus the 82mm OEM one, Supposed to plug and play. better throttle response, no tune required.

Oem is 60mm . I run a 65mm as it's the size of the opening at the intake manifold. Any bigger doesn't help.

I was the unfortunate person that thought buying this was a good idea. Save your money and just run your truck in sport mode, or put the money towards a custom tune.

I bought it hoping it would bridge the gap between normal mode and sport. I felt like normal was too sluggish and I had to apply too much throttle to get the feedback I desired. I cant say it was worth the purchase.

I have not in this truck but any other vehicle I put an oversized throttle body on to, it made a noticeable difference

Any dyno runs with this being the only change? Long shot, but worth the q.

I picked up a tenth measured with draggy and mpg went up.
