Old school- I miss the front over the hump sandbag trash cans from back in the day. And cars that could use them.
Just made a 4500mi. trip and just used a plastic grocery bag.
Wife and I just had a similar discussion about trash can for front 2024 XLT.

I wish Ford or someone would come out with trash can. Tried plastic bag but no place to hang it.

Just hang it off the shifter snd the bag hangs down under your thigh. That seems like it would work

I have used a small trash "bag" off Amazon that attaches to the back of the passenger side headrest for about 5 years on each of my vehicles. It has a cut rubber top so trash does fly out. Less than $15 and has worked great for me.

I use a plastic bag from the grocery store, then twist it closed and put it in the seat pocket behind the passenger seat. Or get some hooks that hang from the headrest posts. I got some with caribeaners that I use to hang our hydration packs and first aid kit when we're traveling. Figure safety over the little inconvenience to unscrew them.

I bought trash holder that hooks onto headrest from Amazon. Many to choose from. Not as convenient as the old sandbag trash holder on the transmission hump but it works pretty well. Was using the shopping bag stuck in the glove box door, convenient, cheap but ugly.
