I look forward to update once it's done. I've thought about doing this. I find the cabin can get pretty loud in heavy rain. Normally it just means the radio gets turned up louder. Are you getting it done at the dealership? Any idea how long it takes or how hard it is to get the headliner out?
Holy crap! HUGE reduction in interior noise levels! Between the doors and roof it was like riding in a luxury automobile. You could hear some road noise from the rear. Folks have sound proofed the rear of the cab, but there are a lot of steps to that. Possible project for the spring. The stock sound system in an XLT seems much clearer.

And my 25 XLT with the same build date of Oct 6 didn't get one! Dearborn Plant.
Rangers aren't built at Dearborn, only Wayne Michigan Assembly Plant.
Will check my '25 XLT when i get back home from my work trip Thursday, funny I've had the hood open numerous times and never noticed if I have one or not.

I had followed this post for a bit, figured I’d order one for my 24 XLT this spring. Last week I opened the hood for something else and there it was!

Dealer Auto Parts has the hood insulator for $163 and my shipping was $66. With clips shipped $255.

N1WZ-16738-B - Insulator | Dealer Auto Parts
Mine was built on 9/05/25 and doesn't have it, I'm going to see what my local Dealer parts Dept price is then i can used my saved up Ford rewards points and eliminate the shipping charge, I'll go with whoever has the better price.

I was able to find a local dealer thru the fords accessories web site that had it listed for $192 with me picking it up, The pricing was all over the place and another nearby dealer at $237 $10 above MSRP and others at $227 MSRP all pick up pricing.
Levittown Ford parts a 5G forum sponsor (i don't see him posting here) was $152 but that required shipping to me at $220 😮with a shipping discount it was reduced to $110, still more than my final.
And Levittown doesn't allow you to use reward points, i was able to use them at the dealer i placed the order, except for the sales tax had to charge that $12:rolleyes: So happy i got it coming.
