Holy crap! HUGE reduction in interior noise levels! Between the doors and roof it was like riding in a luxury automobile. You could hear some road noise from the rear. Folks have sound proofed the rear of the cab, but there are a lot of steps to that. Possible project for the spring. The stock sound system in an XLT seems much clearer.I look forward to update once it's done. I've thought about doing this. I find the cabin can get pretty loud in heavy rain. Normally it just means the radio gets turned up louder. Are you getting it done at the dealership? Any idea how long it takes or how hard it is to get the headliner out?
