US Market Dashcam USB Port - on rearview mirror base?

I’ve seen pictures floating around of USB port on the rearview mirror base for plugging in a dashcam. Does anyone know if this is available in the US market or just a RoW thing?

Ranger Lariat at the Houston Auto show didnt have it.

Given the RoW rangers have it included, I would hope Ford includes it in the US model.

The mirror on the auto show ranger could have been pre-production or parts-bin that just didn't have it included. Guess we can just wait and see.

If nothing else, previous Ford vehicles usually have a channel for wires from the rearview mirror, across the top cowl and down the pillar.

On my Bronco there’s a plug behind the rearview mirror, and this dongle from Amazon plugs right into it and gives you a USB port for a dash cam.

No it's not. Manual says "could be there", see the screenshot of the manual. I was hoping for it on my 24 Lariat 2.7, but no. Had to run a wire around the windshield.

i don't have a usb port on the mirror in my 25 ranger lariat bought in canada. i used a hardwire fuse tap kit and ran it down the a pillar. i cut the hole for my wire in same location on the mirror as we have a little blank spot there. i got a little worried dust might get in there and cause issues so i sealed it up with some duct tape

i wouldn't mind using the usb and not sure why it isn't included in north american rangers but it is my understanding that even if we did have this usb port by default, it would not work for parking mode (parking mode requires a constant on and an accessory only power source). i have to park in dodgy places for my work and i really wanted parking mode to work.
