Ford - Warranty ? If it’s not Fords they don’t have to honor your warranty
I would just flash it back to stock before brining it in for any warrantee claim. I had an unleashed tune on my 2019 ranger and they didint say shit when I made a claim on the slipping transmission, I never even bothered re-flashing it, even had an unleashed sticker on that tailgate lol. They gave me a brand new tranny and the bill with all the labor was over 10k. The dealer wants to do the work so they can get paid lol it’s in their interest to not bring it up.

Just throwing in ZFG as an option, im sure nothing wrong with the others but I love my ZFG 93 performance tune and they are the go to for the Explorer ST and that platform is close to ours.
Performance is amazing, tranny shifts better, AS/S turned off, and gear icon instead of D in normal mode
Do they get rid of the 107 speed limiter as well?

Every time you flash it back to stock it resets the computers miles. So if you have a blown tranny and flash it back to stock ford is going to say how did that happen with 0 miles on it.

1- they don’t care and aren’t even going to look most of the time
2- tell them you reset the ECU in an attempt to diagnose or fix the issue.

i haven o livernois experience but i really considered them.

my buddy has goosetuned on his f150 raptor and really likes it. his truck was already a henessey raptor and goostune tuned it even more. my friend said he can spin the tires on the highway now and said his last trip to denver, he got 23mpg with whatever big tires come on the full size raptors.

i would do goostuned but he doesn't do the non-raptor rangers

With the hundreds of modules in a vehicle, there’s no secrets, all auto companies know the actual miles. I call my dealer the other day on a recall and they told me the mile on my truck. BIG BROTHER!

I did some research last night using A1 - about Mobil 1 oil and filter along with using tunes other than Ford gain, horsepower and torque. And was told Ford would not honor any warranty if someone else has tune was put in their vehicle. Another thing I found is the turbos were both oil and water cooled.

I'd be happy to help you out man.

One thing I'd keep in mind is a tuner who actually owns the vehicles they tune, and the fact that they can go put hands on it and test/R&D their own trucks.

I have that ability at any time on my trucks.

As far as the 3.0 motor, they are strong. When tuned properly.

We own the current Explorer 3.0 stock turbo record, so we know our way around that motor pretty well!

If you have questions, please Let me know!

I had Livernois tunes on my 2011 f150 3.5 ecoboost. I didn't really care for it. Sometimes the shifting was a little funky. The mycal device was user friendly but I didn't like being locked into their tunes only. I sold the mycal and got an SCTX4 so I could try tunes from a few different tuners. I got tunes from 5 Star and MPT. The 5 Star tunes weren't bad but I liked the MPT tunes better. I don't think MPT makes tunes for the 3.0 so when I'm ready I'm going to go with Goosetuned.

Anyone who is considering whether to use Goose, go on fordraptorforum and see the hundreds of pages containing thousands (literally) of 100% universally positive rave reviews on Winfield's product and customer service. There's your answer.

I had almost 60,000 trouble free miles on my Goosetuned Stage 2 Gen 2 Raptor (truck was stolen in Houston, FML) and am at 30K miles and counting on my Goosetuned Stage 2 Gen 3 Raptor.
