What did they tell you today about your Ranger Raptor?

I'll go first,

At stop light, guy tells me to roll window down.
Guy in Subaru rally car, lifted.

"Hey, is that a real raptor?"
"What raptor is that?"
"What motor does it have?"

Today at a drive through, guy sticks his head out the window, looks the Raptor over and says, "Not gonna lie, I really like it."

During vacation in Texas at Enchanted Rock State Park, coming back into the parking area from hiking, a couple are slowly walking by the Raptor staring at the truck and notice us walking up to it, and they say, "You caught us looking at you truck hahaha! Nice truck, really like that color!"

Same week in Fredericksburg's main shopping street, waiting for the light to change green so I can turn, people are crossing the street, I notice a couple walking by in front of the truck but the guy is staring at the truck with a big ass grin on his face, sees me and then gives me the thumbs up. His girl is oblivious. Maybe he was just flirting with me, I dunno.

Man, Enchanted Rock and Fredericksburg. Amazing scenery and amazing food. Jealous of your truck AND your trip!

The funeral procession business across from my work business.....they drive Harleys and Harleys with sidecars.
"I thought the Raptor was bigger. Nice truck."
Me: "No, it is the new Ranger Raptor. The F-150 Raptor is bigger and longer and won't fit in my garage."
Them: 'Oh, the "baby" Raptor".
Actually, I don't mind that reference.

Haha. I had a similar thing happen. The dude that owns a coffee shop down the road has a new GMC 3500 duramax. When I pulled though the drive through he was like "man I wanted to not like these Ranger Raptors when I saw pictures online. But in person it is sick!"

Enchanted Rick is a beautiful spot. I say this as an Alaskan when beautiful scenery is right outside the door.
The time I was there, I got confronted by a big Ol' Horned Toad. Apparently I was in his territory.
My dad's side of the family is from the Hill Country and I've always enjoyed the scenery on the drive from Llano to Austin.
No RR yet, last message said the 10th, so we shall see. But driving from Louisiana with Alaska plates, I'm sure I'll get plenty of "oglers.".

"Does it have a 4 cylinder"
"Look awesome, this is my first time seeing one"

2nd story
Ford dealership Northside of Vegas.
Salesman taking tons of pictures of the CG Raptor.
Told him, Caught you taking pictures.

Salesman
"You never see these"
"Where did you get it"
"What did you pay for it" (told him $500 under MSRP)
Response - "Wow, it's so hard to get those rebates to work on trucks like these. They won't let you use them"

Got windows tinted today. Went to pick it up and the guy said "I had you down as a Ranger but it says Raptor so I guess I wrote it down wrong." I said no, it's a Ranger Raptor. And he did a double take and said, "Oh wow, really? That got the 3.0 TT V6? I haven't seen one of those before." Ya not many are out in the wild yet. I've had it for about a month.

I've had mine for one month and I still haven't seen another RR yet in person.

I had a guy at a rest area come up and ask what the Raptor had over his Tremor other then being wider. Everything I told him (motor, front locker, adaptive blah blah) he said he had.
Ok, so I guess they're the same?

Thing is, I checked out the specs on the Ranger Tremor since I assume that's what he was talking about and it's really not even near. Still pretty cool but still very different.
But yeah, the engine part got me, I was ready to reply, "No you don't."' but I still needed to get to the gas pump and I didn't feel like arguing in the parking lot.
