First oil change today. Tarped the floor and masked off nearby areas to the drain that may get hit with how fast the oil shoots out. Wound up making a massive mess anyway as the oil flow hit a raised area on my oil container and ramped right off splashing everywhere. Even made it off the tarp onto the garage floor of course...
Better luck next time. Super easy to change though, first truck for me so it was nice not having to lift the vehicle.

Not a fan that the oil filter is on "backorder" though on the Ford Parts site...
Had to buy elsewhere and even had another online place cancel my order due to "backorder"

Bought a set of Hakka LT3 Load Range D snow tires in the stock size (there is an $80 Nokian rebate), had them mounted on my BL wheels. The KO3s went on a set of like new Bronco takeoffs ($650 for five, including Ford TPMS sensors.) The new sensors worked fine, except that during the installation I got a message on my brand new Apple Watch that made me laugh.

Had the Ford branded REV hard trifold installed

Can you drive with the tri fold pressed against the window? Can you fit a full adult bike without removing the trifold apparatus?

Yes you can drive with the trifold against the glass. There's about 6 inches of space you lose from the cover like that

I spent 14 hours removing swirls and scratches. The dealership PDI was atrocious.
They offered to send it out to a detail shop to correct the paint and include a free ceramic coating.
It was tempting but at this point I don't trust anyone but myself.

Meguires Ultimate Scratch & Swirl remover
Meguires Ultimate Polish
Chemical Guys Extreme Top Coat sealant.

Looks like they used a DA and not very well.

Meguiars makes a fine cut compound that will take this out and you can DIY. Can be bought of Amazon. Works really well in removing this type of paint issue. Used it before on several vehicles.

Nice! I bought the same wheels off FP just a couple weeks ago. What size tires did you go with? 265/70r17’s? I’m curious also as to clearance to the suspension… any issues etc? (I’m asking because truck still in build mode lol) thanks!

I just had the stock 255/70/17 tires swapped over. Get my moneys worth out them and thinking about 255/80/17 when I get a new set.

Good idea. I know the rims are 8.5” wide with an offset of 55 and on another thread someone added a wider tire on existing OEM 7.5” wheels and there wasn’t a whole lot of clearance… we shall see. I was hoping on going 265’s. Thanks and enjoy the truck!
