New to this forum. Sold my 2dr Bronco Badlands and got the RR last week.
First small change I made today was relocating the trailer plug using the American Adventure Labs kit. I cut the old bracket off and painted the area that got messed up.

Just bought an MBPR exhaust for my 2.7. Much cheaper to go through their reseller. I was charged no tax, or shipping. https://mbrpexhauststore.com/

Question is now do Install this myself or pay someone $250 to do it, if I'm impatient. I have all the tools but never really installed an exhaust before...Anyone on this forum done the MBPR install?

Did you get a chance to install this?

I've installed a few exhaust systems over the years and built a couple from scratch. Prefab stuff like that is usually super easy. I would expect MBPR to be well fitted. Even at my age I would save the money and do it myself.

Then nurse my scrapes & bruises with a few days of kicking back and sipping margaritas....

Not to hi-jack but I did Borla’s cat back system on my RR in my driveway with the truck up on ramps on a Saturday afternoon. Basic hand tools and didn’t even have to remove the spare tire. Most reputable exhaust kits utilize factory hangers and really are a cake walk if you follow the instructions and take your time. The exhaust for the 2.7L should be a breeze, especially since you won’t have to fiddle with the exhaust servos for the different sound settings on the Raptor. That’s the only item that actually took any time. Nor the dual rear exit setup.
Save the coin & do it yourself.

Driving aound jacksonville and camp lejuene nc tday to help my sister get stuff ready for her daughter's wedding.

Thr wife and i are so glad we brought the ranger. It might not get the gas mileage the mazda3 gets but the height while waiting an intersection is so worth the difference

Completely agree!
I've been a truck guy since the 70s.
We were going to take the wife's Escape on our road trip this summer until we bought the RR. Gonna cost more in gas but a truck is so much more comfortable (for me anyway) and the visibility is better too.

Added some subdued hi-lites to the Raptor F-O-R-D grill letters from Tufskinz. It's the forged carbon fiber. These are going to really pop in the bright sunshine.

Took about 700# of demo’d sheetrock, laminate flooring and framing lumber to the recycling center. First decent load I’ve hauled and gotta say I’m impressed with this little beast of a truck: no sag, no change in how it drove 😎.

Same problem. My wife's CX-50 is a really nice touring vehicle, it has a great chassis and smooth ride, adequate power (we got the non-turbo version), but it just doesn't have the same appeal for long road trips as the RR despite great seats, ride etc.

Sitting up higher is nice for long road trips, especially in traffic as mentioned. Having that 5ft bed is also a boon for luggage and let's not forget, a 186 HP NA 4-cyl is just no comparison to a 455 HP 3.0L TT V6 on the smiles per gallon gauge...
