What did you do WITH your 6G Ranger today?

The wife and I drove up to Galveston and hung out with our oldest son and his girlfriend. We drove the ranger for everything we all did because it turned better than her car does.

We also did a sunset cruise and dolphin watch. Here are pics. The first is dolphins jumping in front of the ship. The rest are sunset from the boat we were in

Hard to believe we were in Galveston just a few days ago. We are now in Gallup NM!

Finally got around to installing my amber DRL today. Now just need my DD yellow fogs to arrive.

Looks great with the hot pepper red! I am finally installing my lava dlrs tomorrow. I already have the dd fogs.

Drove it to Ohio to be in the path of the total Eclipse. It was the truck's first real trip and it was great on the highway. Traffic sucked coming home and it averaged 23.8 mpg on the 150 mile trip.

I would love to get 23.8 in my RR

It's like prison. They have to make sure the right person is getting let out. Make sure you file for your VA rating!

I have gotten my va stuff already. I am signing out of being an army civilian since 2004. I wish they told us about going to the VA back in the 90s, when I got out of active duty army, though. It sure would have made some things in life different.

I know when I applied for my VAC I was retired from military for 15 years and they still thought I was still in.

Thank you for your service. I'm familiar with the demands that being a good military man entails and am most appreciative of those that choose to sacrifice for the rest of us.

My Ranger and I sought refuge in the fire station while a nasty storm cell passed over. In the end there wasn't any hail so didn't need to be indoors, but it was nice not having to risk it.

I would also like to clarify that I'm a member of the station and was there doing some work. I didn't just see a random fire station with its doors open and drive inside
