What gives? No rear A/C vents?

You're right. Some US models do not have rear A/C vents, but many overseas versions do. This is often done to save money during production.

Car makers sometimes remove features from certain markets to lower costs or because they think most buyers won't need them.

If rear vents are important to you, there are a few options. You can use clip-on fans, or check if an aftermarket kit is available. Some people also direct more air to the back by adjusting the front vents.

It’s not ideal, but it’s a common move by car makers to cut down on parts and costs.

For what its worth, my 2023 Ranger Lariat had rear A/C vents, but people complained it was too hot back there. In my 2025 Ranger, with no rear A/C vents, I've had people complain I was trying to freeze them out while it was 107 outside my freezing cab...

Oh, and my 70 Plymouth Hemi-Cuda had the old legendary 74 A/C system. 70 mph, 4 windows rolled down.
