Will Gen6 Ranger have 4wd auto option?

Not sure. I’m curious too. My guess is it’s anything like the bronco if you have to get the higher trim level. I know the raptor will come with it after watching some of the over seas videos. Maybe the Tremor.

Being in the US, I don't know for sure but I believe some models will have 4WD Auto. Looking at the great interior pics that @Equitasforall posted on his thread "My New Gen 6 Ranger WildTrak delivered" he doesn't have the option.
I pulled a screenshot from a brochure on the AUS Ford site that looks like 4WD auto exists.

I can almost guarantee it will be available on at least some trim levels. They have it on their ROW 6G Rangers and their competitors (GM twins) have it.

One thing to note, the transfer case on my Bronco is very smooth when you go from 4h to 4a or 4l and then back to 2h. You can switch it on the fly while driving except for 4l.

Not that it is specific to 6G Ranger, just a reference point: Our 2018 F-150 Sport has selectable 4WD. Default is 2WD, but we have rotary knob on dashboard that allows shift on the fly into 4H, then requires being in neutral to select 4L. From there can also engage electronically locking rear end. Everything we could want or need in our full size truck.

4A will be available on some trim levels, and in the Raptor. Likely with the upper spec engine only (presuming a 2.7 EcoBoost is an option).
