Ohhh, you meant a third-party adaptor! I hadn't considered that. Good call.
Thanks for finding that!
OK so I ordered these adapters and it did work to attach to the glass and was snug but the issue was the housing would not close due to the angle of the mirror stem in the Wolfbox kit (photo attached).

I read on Facebook someone was trying other brackets they found on eBay so I ordered 2 to test fit. I will also attach photos of the ones I ordered and will report back when they arrive early next week.

This is where I ordered them from:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/3863046879...7bcXmClSra&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

I’m also hoping these allow for a non obstructed front camera view being a different angle. This is what the front camera looked like with the Wolfbox mount and adapter looked like. I will report back once I try the other brackets.

Thanks for pioneering this. This is really going to be a great solution if it works out.
When you went twist off the OEM mirror, did you use a channel lock?
I was going to, but I couldn't figure out a grip where I would end up scratching/mangling the bracket.
Then, when I realized that Wolfbox didn't have an adapter solution, I never followed through.

So with the brackets I have coming from eBay they have the correct glass mount so you won’t need the adaptors that were shared on Amazon. No need for channel locks, I was able to twist it off with my hands, a slight turn counter clockwise I believe and it came off. Super easy. There was a cable connected to the mirror for auto-dimming but unplugging it didn’t give any error messages anywhere.

Happy New Year guys. The brackets arrived from China today on new years day. I will install after we go eat and report back. This is the og mirror then the Wolfbox with #33 on it, #48 is sitting next to it. Stay tuned, this looks promising.

This is what it looks like when you take the factory mirror off by twisting counter clockwise with your hands.

The arms of #33 and #48 were identical but the base of #33 is too fat for the cover to go back on. #48 works perfectly. I have the camera turned slightly left and I pulled the view downwards on the touchscreen in the front only view. In split camera view you can’t scroll up/down on the mirror touchscreen so you still see the housing but I don’t think it’s a big deal. Next step is to wire it properly. Cheers.

Thank you so much for this!!
Just to verify, Is #48 the same as in this picture? It doesn't look quite the same on the arm, so just seeking validation.

#48 I received doesn’t look like the photo on the eBay listing at all but it works. It does day #48 stamped on it also and I questioned this but apparently they are different now so we got lucky.

I’m driving on the freeway and noticed the mirror vibrates which is a little annoying. I think I read somewhere people were putting padding or something on the bracket where it attaches to the mirror, I will have to search and figure that out. Maybe I don’t have the screws tight enough either.

I added some foam between the plate and mirror and that did help but it’s not perfect. When the video is on I don’t notice vibration, only when the mirror is turned off. I read some were having better luck with a metal back plate so I am going to order the P6 as recommended on the WolfBox Facebook group: https://a.aliexpress.com/_mrRuNNv

So, I emailed that vendor (xrc-tech), showed him your pictures and asked him to confirm. This was his response.

Is he talking about this "s-curve" piece?

I'm going to email him back with just this photo and see what he says.

I got the same mount ordered. Does the mirror get in the way of the sun visors?
