I think you're on target here. I'm sure they're trying to balance out 2023 Broncos before they start churning out Rangers in numbers. I'm suspecting we won't see serious scheduling until that's done. A few orders will dribble out, but probably not many.

I just want to get a schedule date lol I will be hitting my 45 day email but I'm sure it will be the default one they say. supply shortage blah blah.

I wonder if my dealership got their orders previewed today, because their sales manager called me asking me to send them copies of the deal that I had worked with my salesman (who I found out no longer works there). Pretty sure they were trying to fleece me for anything that hadn’t been committed in writing, because I sent him everything except a screenshot of the text “no deposit required”. He then turned around and asked me a for a $5000 non-refundable deposit. Argued with the guy about it for a while until I mentioned I had text messages from the salesman saying no deposit and offered to do a $500 deposit.

We’ll see what happens, but there’s no way I’m giving them $5000 when there’s no guarantee I’m getting the 2nd allocation they’ve promised me. Dude was giving me shit about how they wouldn’t be able to sell a Shelter Green Raptor because Hot Pepper and Silver were the easy to flip colors. He kind of choked on his words when I told him I’d happily flip to Hot Pepper and keep my $0 deposit.

I hate dealerships and the fact that there’s zero structure to the ordering process. They’ll probably just agree to the $500 deposit and then give my allocation to someone willing to pay up, even though we already have a deal and an order placed with Ford.

So what does this mean for the people still waiting to get their raptor scheduled?

There is a slim chance that raptors will be scheduled as is evident of the use of the word "limited" before the term "scheduling"

I placed my order on July 5th. Just received my 45-day generic supply constraints e-mail from Ford yesterday. Not scheduled yet.
