Ford never shows the vehicle until it’s in production. That’s why it’s under future vehicles.I wonder why on the Ford website it still shows the 2023 Ranger?
If they want to sell the Ranger 6g then the 2024 model should be there. Its like they really don’t want to advertise it.
Someone who isn't aware they're coming soon... or, who needs a truck now and can't wait.I still see 2023 showing up in lots. Who on earth would buy one when the 2024 refresh right around the corner. I got a call from Sales Person about a 23 Tremor that just arrived. Was tempted but passed.
The time between a new model being announced and the old model still being on sale is usually the lowest sales period of a model. Dealers have trouble selling them. That means they can make a deal. For someone who just needs a small truck, this is a great opportunity to buy one with a discount. The majority of people who buy cars are not enthusiasts and honestly don’t care if something new is coming out.I still see 2023 showing up in lots. NICE Stubby Cab version of my Pepper!!At my dealer, they just got a ‘23 HPR Supercab XLT 4x4 with Towing and 301A. This would be exactly what I would order - IF they still offered an extended cab long bed. Unfortunately, I’m still a few years out on buying a new truck, but if someone wants one of the last Supercab Rangers, here’s your chance. Hopefully they’re willing to deal on a ‘23, but you never know…

Production hasn't started yet so it's under the future vehicles section. This is how they've treated all of the recent launches, including the Mustang and Super Duty.

What do you mean production has not started yet? Scheduling has.. Will they time the update on the web page when they physically start up the production lines? Interesting.. I was wondering too. I'm quite impatient! LOL
You schedule before you produce. All the scheduled dates are in the future. Ford does not make their production schedule public. We know what it is based on leaks from dealerships. Mid-August.Ahhh I see.. they don't want to change the website with 23 stock on lots till the 24 is driving around on the streets... I guess that makes sense. ( I was tempted with a '23 but the interior scared me off) The outside was beautiful.

Think of it this way. There is no way to give a dealer money and take home a 24 Ranger. There won’t be until they are produced and delivered. In other words you can buy it in the future. But not now. Therefore it is a future vehicle.
If you didn’t bring a ranger with you, you’re useless to me
