I'm curious if anyone's truck that's going via rail has been shipped? Mine appears to be sitting at the RM6P for some time now.
Mine is sitting on same ramp, went to order confirmed a couple days ago after being built a couple weeks ago. Seems as though they are prioritizing East coast shipments currently.

I just contacted chat and they said mine was shipped and gave rail car info. I called the 800# for the rail car location and said it was currently in Decatur, IL. Yours might be on the same train.

Similar, went to built stats a few weeks ago but hasn't changed.

Mine shipped 3/16 via rail. No clue where it’s at
Thanks for sharing, glad to hear at least some trucks going rail have shipped.

How are you able to see its location? I can’t activate Ford Pass until I take delivery of it.
When it tells you to try again after you've taken delivery of it. Immediately try again (quickly) and it should bring up a prompt on the vehicle the next time it's started so someone will either accept or deny the request.

So i know it's been mentioned that the shipping type used is determined by mileage the dealership is away from the plant. I believe that distance cut off is 300 miles and anything further away, the new truck will get shipped via rail first before making it's way to your dealership.

I was curious, if retail (special) orders are handled any different, meaning if I have ordered one and my dealership is 330 miles from the plant (yes only 30 miles over the apparent cutoff), would the new truck be shipped via convoy to get it to dealership faster since it's a retail order?

I did look at my dealership's bronco window stickers since the bronco comes from the same place, and all that I reviewed showed rail.
The dealership where I ordered from is 378 miles away from MAP, according to google maps. Mine is coming by convoy and it says ramp “W”. Blend date was supposed to have been Monday the 25th. No update as to built yet. But I ordered spray in bed liner so it is probably at the contractor that does that.

Thank you for actually responding to my question. It's funny how the topic always seems to drift on all these forum threads.

I do find it interesting that your dealership is that much farther away. Must have something to do with how to rail system works and if it's even available in the areas of the country you live.

Followed your directions and contacted chat. They gave me the train transportation provider and the rail car number. Called CSX and found out that the truck is currently in Dayton Ohio and will pull into Tampa on April 2nd. Thanks for helping me sleuth this. 👍

You're welcome. It could be because it is retail or maybe my dealerships volume of sales. I did see he had an order for a Raptor for stock that was to be blended the next day(3/26) so it might be coming also.
