Not looking to start a big discussion, but are we all agreed that 91 from reputable purveyors is the proper grade for US models? Thats what I inferred from the manual but there was no Raptor specific fuel recommendation.
i believe if you look on the inside the fuel door , it says 87+.

See earlier in the thread where the manual gives more info on using 91 for optimal performance.

Using 91.
Been getting 17.2 average mileage. Mixed commuting and highway driving.
A tailwind helps. Drove 4.5 hours south from northern Minnesota yesterday, with a brisk north tailwind.
Averaged 22.3 with my RR - roughly half the trip with 60MPH speed limits and the rest 70MPH (drove around 74-75MPH).

The fuel door says 87+ because 87 is the bare minimum octane you should be running. You will absolutely see better engine performance if you stop pinching pennies and pay for better gas.

I put premium in my lariat because driving is an enjoyable experience and I want the best performance. I didn't pay $55k for a truck just so I could treat it like a hooptie.

To each his own. I happen to agree with you and will be using at least 91.

Most of the gas stations around here have 93 octane instead of 91. So I run 93 octane. Summer is getting closer so the prices have been steadily creeping up lately. I paid $4.58 per gallon last night. ?
Up a little around here, unless it changes I'll be getting 93 at Costco for $3.69 (funny the Sam's a mile away has 91 at same price) this week, highest its been in months although trend is down in the area. I get it in IA about 20 miles away but have to go to the area every other week so not out of the way. It is $3.79 where I live in IL for 87....thanks JB :)

I own a Raptor Ranger and my fuel door says 85. I chalk it up to Someone in assembly wasn’t paying attention or didn’t know what the 3.0 engines fuel recommendation was

Hey everyone. I just bought my ā€˜24 RR, I’ve only had it a couple weeks. When I picked it up, it said 300 miles until empty. I filed it up the other day and now it says 260 miles until empty. The truck is telling me I’m getting a combined 13mpg. Has anyone else experienced this? I’m assuming it will get better as the truck gets broke in.

Yes, it should get better, but it depends on how you drive. I've been averaging 17.2MPG. After a long trip with a big tailwind, my average was 22.3 or 22.4 and after fill-up that time, my miles to empty increased significantly. The computer calculates the miles based on MPG and re-adjusts. My next fill-up will likely calculate with numbers closer to my average.
