If so, do you have pics?

Just curious what it looks like without them (preferably on an XLT). I find that they are just in the way because this truck does not sit that high.

Although, they are very good door ding deterrents!

I planned on it but my short wife complained :rolleyes:

if i'm doing some weekend trail riding then they will definitely be coming off, if only for the day.

I'm waiting for frame mounted rock sliders with removable steps to come out, then they're gone. It does look better without the running boards.

I'm waiting for frame mounted rock sliders with removable steps to come out, then they're gone. It does look better without the running boards.
Same here. I removed the RB's from my Bronco and put on rock rails. Looked much better. Just waiting on RR's to come out.

The only one that matches my description so far was body mounted. I like having the steps but they need to be removed for offroad use.
I actually like the way they look, but that's preference. For off-roading, I'd rather have real rock sliders with a minimal step, but I'm going to run with the OEM boards for a while and when they get bashed up then I'll replace them.
