Picked up a 24’ ranger lariat a couple weeks back and I’ve noticed with the windows down the rear seat belts flap almost consistently against the plastic C pillar trim and it’s driving me nuts, anyone have the same issue or a DIY fix?

Same here. Only thing i have come up with is to have the sliding rear window to your bed open as well. Seems to reduce it or eliminate it completely depending how many windows you have open. With just the driver window open and the slider , doesnt flap at all.

I think he means to buckle the seatbelts in the back that don't have someone sitting in them. That will keep them taught.

Yeah, I had this happening but only on the rear passenger seatbelt, not the drivers side. Once I started opening the rear window it became minimal, even at highway speeds. I might try to come up with some sort of pillar clip idea like a lot of cars have to retain the belts when not in use.

EDIT: Just found some clips on amazon that fix this exact scenario. I ordered them and will report back on how they work. Unfortunately they wont arrive until end of the month.

Definitely interested to see how they work for you. Currently I only put the rear windows down an inch or so to prevent the flapping around.

So I finally received the seatbelt holder and it works fantastic. Looks factory and gets rid of the flapping.
