With as many people still have the material present, it seems likely that it's supposed to stay there and it's not just a temporary shipping material. The chances that 1-2 dealers forgot to unpack the truck right is one thing, but when we have seen nearly every truck on this forum with it in place after purchase, it's likely it was never meant to be removed. Also the fact that it is riveted onto the body and not just a free-floating sheet of material adds to this.
We've had like 3-4 large threads about

We've had like 3-4 large threads about this on the forum, and the consensus with almost everyone is that it's there after taking delivery and their dealer said it's supposed to be there.
Definitely don’t have that. Build 1/29, delivery 4/10Piece of white fabric that feels like underlayment or insulation between the cab and bed . I saw it when I was changing the bulbs in the cargo lights to LED’s
