Grab handles why in the world did Ford delete them I want them back.

Just a thought. My mom has an "old" Ford Escape. It does not have a driver's side grab handle so she uses the steering wheel. Over the years, the steering wheel actually started to get bent from her pulling. NO, she is not overweight, but the constant pulling has indeed bent the column.

I get it. FWIW, I think it should at least have "Oh SH*T" handles up front on the roofliner.

I watched a video the other day where a guy was taking his Ranger Raptor interior apart to sound deaden it. He had to remove the A-pillar interior panels and also wanted to add a grab handle from a foreign market, but said it could not be done because everything on the US Raptor A-pillar (wiring, airbag, etc.) is located differently so it would not be a one-to-one fit.

Is this the video. It does show why it may be difficult to add a handle there. It looks completely different than the passenger side.

Why do small suvs and trucks with poor drivers side overlap crash performance not have grab handles on the driver side? The mystery will never be revealed.
