Anyone install the side vents?

I think the current side vents feel cheap and look cheesy. Was thinking of adding these. Look more functional and cleaner look. Not sure how the originals come off? But the new say double sided tape? Assume originals added the same way? Thoughts.

They are clipped in, pry them out with a plastic trim removal tool. I put some masking tape on the paint as a precaution.

No. Just seen these and liked the look. The OEM ones look and feel cheap. You can easily pull the top cover up with your fingers. I would say a car wash could easily rip one off. The one I show remove the loose cover and look to act as a functional vent?

I suppose you could make them flash if hooked into the turn signal wires. I thought about using them as a power source for my bed side step lights. I hooked into my bed/puddle light circuit.
as to the “cheapness” of the original ones, I go through a car wash at least every other day and haven’t had any issues.
