i suppose it depends on what you are doing with your truck. if you don't offroad, then the 50 series tires on 20" rims will be great on road because it was stick in the turns better

But if you need that traction in the turns, isn't the body going to be rolling all over the place? The suspension just isn't really stiff enough or set up for that application.

I love everyone customizing their rig for whatever they are doing, but this seems like a compromise to me.

i am not sure. i haven't been in a ranger raptor but from what i read, they handle like a sports car.

i know my regular ranger didn't come with a rear sway bar so it has a lot of roll and the wind gusts effect it on the highway

Absolutely, this truck handles like my old GLA 45 AMG did.
Had one of those myself a few years back. Helluva motor and quite the sleeper.

Anyhoo, I'm also in the minority camp who bought into the RR for street duty. Only dirt roads it will see wouldn't pose much of a problem for your average AWD sedan. If Ford ever builds a Ranger Raptor Lobo odds are I'd wind up with one of those instead. In the meantime, I'll likely change over to some form of more road oriented tire. Nice to know that the truck responds well to that.
