2025 MPC 2.3 Alternate Oil Filter

So I just had the Ford mobile van here to do my first oil change and he used a FL-500-S Motorcraft filter. He said it is the same filter as the Fl-2127 just taller and more filtration. There is plenty of room for it. He said you just have to add a little more oil due to a little more in the filter.

I’m using that one as i have a stash from my Mustang GT. First oil change though i had to grab a 2024 Mustang ecoboost equivalent as the manual was not up to date in May of this year for the 2025 engine swap and i bought the one for the old 2.3 and it definitely didn’t fit.
