Goodbye head gasket, transmission. Pump gas? who would spend 60K on a Raptor and turn it into a bomb?
This guy. 🤣
Head gasket is good, although my neck stays sore from it pinning my head to the rest. Transmission was built by Suncoast Performance & has a lifetime warranty and rated to 1200hp.
With Nostrum Injectors & HPFP, I can run 93 pump gas, e85 pump, or pure alcohol.
$60K....by the time I pay off my 30 year loan, I think I'll have $427k in it. If I can make an extra payment once a year, I'll only have $420k in it.

Warranty? 😂
These come with warranties?

I void my warranty before I leave the dealership.

Life is very short. As I get older, lose loved ones, kids grow up, everything moves so fast, and you realize material things don't matter.

One thing I'm not going to do is look back on mine and regret not getting to make a warranty claim.

My first bike was a zx11, it had just beat the Vmax as the worlds quickest bike. Lots more after that but with green...a zx10, zx12,& last one was a zx14. Wonderful times, where we can buy bikes like yours that are a factory race bike. I'm sure its a wild ride.

Sounds impressive, I don't believe the trans is designed for that amount though.....
This thread mentions multiple times that the transmission is built

So for us non US folks, can you ship internationally?
My tuner will handle the software, but what about the injectors and transmission.

Do you have a a list of parts required to make these turbos work optimally?

@DirtDerrick you dirty SOB this is so badass!!!
What Specific suncoast upgrades do you recommend doing before this? What about rear axle?
Really depends on your end goal. Don't do anything twice...like spend almost $1k on Procal, then spend almost $1k on a custom tune. Just saying to plan your build, what's your primary use for the truck, fuel options, & start there. Instead of spending a few thousand on CAI, Intercooler, Charge pipes, etc. Start your foundation and then enjoy the build.
The biggest returns on your investment are going to be a custom tune then Turbos.
Every thing else is minimal performance gains in comparison & preventative. I'm still running factory BOV on this one, factory intercooler on one around 500.

But if you want to do the build together, or in stages, or hell all at once go for it.

Rear axles have been fine, as long as I don't diff lock launch. When/If they break, theirs a company in OZ that has very nice floaters GPE I think, that I'll go to.

Transmission.
Depends on use case, towing, tire size, and how you drive it. 510-530 lb ft tq held up great, Suncoast tore it down, and clutch plates looked good. I towed with it, drove aggressively, but I didn't drive it as hard as the gray one. Heat destroys it, add a trans pan for cheap (f150 pans fit), that add an extra quart or two of fluid, which will help keep temps down.

Right now on whitey, we're testing a minimaul build of valve body, clutches, and trans pan. These mods put it around the same strenght as a 10r80. Both trans share a lot of components, the r60 clutch plates are smaller causing them to over heat and fail. That's where it gets a bad rap. It's a very strong capable transmission. I personally prefer it (once built) over the r80. I've had lots, and the r60 with proper tuning feels so much better & with a wider range. Like easy smooth shifts you dont even feel, to then getting whip lash it's shifting so hard.

Probably said to much, I just took my adderral. Send me an email and I'll help out any way that I can.

Great job Derrick! Spoke to this gentleman on the phone a couple months ago. He’s legit. Did you do anything to the transmission?

I don’t think people actually read the thread before asking questions. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Yes to the transmission. There’s quite a few different stages you can do.

@DaStockST @gtomike60 in his defense, my stories are usually longer than the actual events that took place.
I’m surprised anyone gets past the first sentence 😆.
Tough doing these posts or typing this as I also talk with my hands 🙌

So the f150 trans pans fit our trans, but are deeper?

Yep. I’m running a Suncoast version made by PPE
Mishimoto 2 quarts
PPE 1.75 quarts
Info in links
MishyMojo

They look nice 😊 too.

“Additionally, the Mishimoto Ford 10R60/10R80 Aluminum Transmission Pan adds an extra 2 quarts of ATF to help maintain optimal transmission operation.”
