Exhaust smell inside the cab, 2025 2.3L

Has anyone experienced exhaust smell inside the cab when just have the vent fan on (no ac or heat)? Especially when stopped with truck running. It has happened to me once now, but drew some concern.

Don't know if this will help but I have a bionic nose. Can't stand the smell of diesel exhaust and dope's smoking dope while driving. I always buy a top notch cabin filter right when I get a new vehicle and install it. It definitely makes a big difference to my nose.

Does ford make a charcoal cabin filter ?...........or should I get an aftermarket one?

Yes I have noticed the same thing and it forces me to drive with my window open in traffic.

I have a K&N filter in mine but Fram I believe is coming out with a Fabreeze one.

Yes, same issue. I noticed it again stopped for a call after driving for a period of time. Terrible.

Thanks for sharing! I’m going to see what there is for quality cabin air filters. But unfortunately I don’t see how even a great one can take this stank down. It’s bad bad.

Someone needs to take that issue to the dealer for examination.

No new vehicle should let noticeable exhaust fumes in the interior. There's obviously a leak.

I actually already have a call into my local dealer. No good feedback yet, but I was leaning on them to find resolution.

No issues with mine,and I run the MBRP 3” dumped before the axle exhaust system.
You sure its not other traffic possibly?

Great question and that was my first thought / feelings too but it has happened a few times now and the other times I was alone (no other vehicles around).

Out of curiosity, once truck you have driven the truck (aka. fully warmed up), have you sat with just the vent running? For me and seems to be others, that’s when the exhaust smell becomes strong.
