I was going to refer you back to the video I posted, but now it seems it's audio only.

OK Brian, Jason. I've got the gauges now. Appreciated.

I'll assume you have picked up the Casita? How did it pull? Transmission temps OK?
Inquiring minds and all that, as I have a '24 XLT with 2.7 and am considering ordering a Casita early next year.
What model did you get? Maybe we need a Casita thread, there seem to be several owners on this board.

Picked it up 4 days ago in Rice. We've never towed anything besides my utility trailer with a 4Runner but our smaller engin

So far no problems. Wife driving as I type,Casita in tow behind the Ranger. Outside temperature 83F. Hard to type on my phone or would wrote more but mpg while towing is 17.2 over last 300 miles.

Those temps look normal, and 17 MPG while towing isn't bad.
looks like you have a low tire pressure.

Thanks Jason. Overall we were very very pleased with the little 2.3L turbo. Getting up to speed on interstate on-ramps was not a problem. In tow-haul mode on the declines out in the boonies the 'engine braking' did wonderfully.
Tire pressure. That brings up the only nit on the trip. The tire pressure monitor sensor fault warning popped up on the screen many times. Going into the dealership next Tuesday for a look-see. While there I'm paying for an oil change, me thinking cheap insurance since we just got back from a 2300 mile trip to get the Casita.

Very good idea to change that first fill early.

BigB thanks. I figure it can't hurt and I'm really liking the Ranger 3+ weeks into ownership and my first Ford ever.

Eyeing Retirement
Resurrecting an old thread. Thanks for the Casita towing information. I have been towing a T@B 320S Boondock Lite since 2018. First with a V6 Jeep Liberty and now with my 2.7L Ranger. As I get closer to retirement (🙏) I hope to do more camping and trailer road trips and have been eyeing a 15 foot model Casita which would be a bit heavier than the T@B and aerodynamically different. I bought my Ranger with the possible Casita upgrade in mind. Glad to know it will probably handle a Casita as well as it does the T@B.
