OK Brian, Jason. I've got the gauges now. Appreciated.
Picked it up 4 days ago in Rice. We've never towed anything besides my utility trailer with a 4Runner but our smaller enginI'll assume you have picked up the Casita? How did it pull? Transmission temps OK?
Inquiring minds and all that, as I have a '24 XLT with 2.7 and am considering ordering a Casita early next year.
What model did you get? Maybe we need a Casita thread, there seem to be several owners on this board.
So far no problems. Wife driving as I type,Casita in tow behind the Ranger. Outside temperature 83F. Hard to type on my phone or would wrote more but mpg while towing is 17.2 over last 300 miles.I'll assume you have picked up the Casita? How did it pull? Transmission temps OK?

Very good idea to change that first fill early. Thanks Jason. Overall we were very very pleased with the little 2.3L turbo. Getting up to speed on interstate on-ramps was not a problem. In tow-haul mode on the declines out in the boonies the 'engine braking' did wonderfully.
Tire pressure. That brings up the only nit on the trip. The tire pressure monitor sensor fault warning popped up on the screen many times. Going into the dealership next Tuesday for a look-see. While there I'm paying for an oil change, me thinking cheap insurance since we just got back from a 2300 mile trip to get the Casita.
