My rear passenger window will just roll down on it own intermittently. Does not matter if the truck is moving or not. Doesn't matter if it's raining or not either. Sometimes it will roll down completely and other times it will stop halfway. I have to press the widow lock to stop it from doing it. Anyone ever have or seen this issue? Could be a bad switch in the door or wiring harness connection not fully made?

PS
I had the recall done but this has been happening before that anyway.

Thanks

Had a friend with a similar issue on a new mustang convertible. Passenger window would just go up and down intermittently. Took the dealership forever to diagnose, but turned out to be the wiring harness.

My RR front passenger window switch just stopped working last night tried turning the window lock on and off a few times, shut the truck off etc. I can roll it up and down from the driver's side main switch. I even rolled it down with the drivers side switch and tried to roll it up with the front passenger switch and no change. I'm going to go out in a bit and take the door card off and make sure the plug is still secure and clicked in.

Any resolution for this? Just started happening to me today with 10K mile 2025 ranger raptor.

Admittedly, I have not addressed it due to my busy schedule. But am able to reproduce the trouble. It's definitely in the wiring harness inside the door. I can press on the door panel above the arm rest and reproduce the window rolling down.

This exact thing happened to me today. The start/stop would shut off the engine. When it re-started the rear passanger window would roll down. This happened every time it would re-start. I reset the window limits and it seems to have fixed the issue. Strangest thing though. I thought I had a ghost or something sitting in the back seat.

To reset the window limits, hold the down button until the window is fully open and keep holding it for 5 seconds after it's open. Close it the same way and hold it 5 second after it's closed. I did this twice and it it hasn't opened on it's own since.
