Also, no ventilated or A/C/ seats on Lariat or Raptor.Yea, I was pretty disappointed as well they, that they didn't add push button start to the XLT tech packages.
I do have a sunroof in my newer full size HD trucks, I do like them, I am a bit surprised they are not adding it to the Raptors, only Lariat and XLTs.
Yea, I don't think I saw anything from anyone's wish list make to the 2026 models. Also, no ventilated or A/C/ seats on Lariat or Raptor.
Appreciate the pictures. Much to think about.Yea, I don't think I saw anything from anyone's wish list make to the 2026 models.
Not anytime soon and only if they wanted a sunroof, and didn't want a Raptor, and no longer wanted leather seats. LOLs.
I would say go after one of those Red 24s we were chatting about.
Not really much if anything to be loosed by it not being a 26 model.
Maybe save a few bucks on it being used or maybe just getting the color you really want is reason enough to get a Red 24 model.
That one with 5K miles I posted earlier had a lot of pics and sure looked clean.
Still looked like a new one in the pics. I didn't see any pics of the 7K mile Red one you found in OKC, but I can't imagine there is much difference in them.
I know my 24 has 11k miles and my 25 is new with less then 1000 miles and I honestly can't tell much difference in them at all especially from the driver seat they pretty much drive exactly the same.
My 2024 is still just as tight and solid as the new 25 model.
The 2026 nothing burger convinced me that this Ranger MY is not for me. There are plenty of 2025s sitting out there wanting a good home. Will watch the Long McArthur YouTube video tomorrow and make a decision. As to the 26MY Raptor, one single boring anticlimactic paint option….and the customary price increase.
As exciting as watching (Avalanche) paint dry…
I wonder why there's such a delay in getting the power moonroof into production. I purchased a '24 Ranger Lariat in 05/24 wishing it had this option. It's my first vehicle in 20+ years without it. Of the trucks that I considered at the time, Ford was the only manufacturer that didn't offer it.attached
. My wife, BTW, knows trucks. Sounds great! So, my wife looked at all the 2026 Ranger information available, and her reaction was. My wife, BTW, knows trucks.
After several rather colorful comments about Ford's CEO Jim Farley in Dearbornistan, she then said no Red, no Raptor. No used Red Raptor, either. Quote: "We are too old to buy used. We have the money for new. Period. Got it? End of story."
So, after 41 years of marriage, my orders from Household Command: Find a 2025 Ruby Red Ranger Lariat with the 2.7L, Black Appearance, FX4, and trailer tow. No Internet sales. No going to get it. No home delivery. Find it and get it shipped to our dealer, or we are not buying it, and we will go look at a 2026 Red Chevy Colorado ZR1 that is on the nearby lot.
Having received my marching orders and threatened with having to look at a Chevy Colorado, I searched. And searched. And...I found it. Not too far away. I called my dealer this morning. I told him to get it and ship it. I will pay the shipping. Now all he has to do is arrange a dealer trade. Well,. I really do not want a Chevy Colorado or a TACO or anything else but a Ranger.
I also like being married to my wife.
This post explains to me why you have been able to stay married for 41 years; I can tell you're a good husband. I would have handled the situation differently and likely explains why I'm divorced. So, my wife looked at all the 2026 Ranger information available, and her reaction was. My wife, BTW, knows trucks.

Some of us would like to get a 2025 but dealers will not trade with each other.Well after all the wait, I agree with most here, nothing new to be excited about. Not keen on the new color, will stick with my Carbonized. Love my 2,7. Not a fan of the moon roof, working at dealership long enough to know not worth the bullshit they cause with leaks and motor and rail issues. Plus makes for a weaker truck, that is why it will not be on the Raptor unless they reengineer the roof panel. So at the end of a long wait, glad I got my 25 they way I wanted and did not hold out for a 26. If I was in the market, I would suggest jumping on a left over 25, take the 2k plus discounts and move on!
4Auto - wow we can only dream.Darn. No 4A option which might’ve come with the tremor people were hoping for. The only noteworthy change is a sunroof, the last thing I want on a car. Thanks for posting the order guide!
