ZFG tuned Ranger Raptor hits the dyno w/ Houston Speed Freaks

Houston Speed Freaks spent a lot of time on my Explorer ST with great results. My ST was built to achieve 672 awhp. We are now continuing the journey with the Ranger Raptor and I look forward to what’s coming. Travis over at Houston Speed Freaks always shows the best hospitality and takes good care of his customers.

Just to add, we realized after that the ethanol numbers were wayyyyy over which could be why the E50 Tune results were lower than expected. It was also 96 degrees in Houston which didn’t help. I plan to get some better numbers soon as I’m going to work with Adam and make a visit to a local dyno. @ZFGRACING @fenfab

I just enjoy building vehicles beyond their stock form. It’s as simple as that.

Question. I know nothing about dynos. I see on Youtube that Goosetuned is getting 460hp + on 91 oct. Are these test equal or is there something I'm missing?

for the most part. location effects the readings because of elevation, temps, humidity, etc but generally, they used to show an equal way of checking hp/tq.

though there are also different types of dynos that read differently so if you are doing your own vehicle, try to go back to the same shop so the machine used reads the same and you can be as close to equal on your testing.

I was definitely over saturated on the ethanol content and the outside temperature was in the high 90’s. I’ll get back on the dyno very soon with an exact ethanol content and better weather.

Did you end up getting any better numbers with more revisions and more accurate ethanol content numbers? I'm about to start my ZFG E50 journey and have a pretty similar setup minus the down pipes. I installed a Fuel-It Bluetooth ethanol analyzer over the weekend so I should hopefully not run into the same situation with being over on my ethanol mix
